DANIEL I. GOLDBERG is a graduate of Indiana University (B.A. 1990). He earned a law degree from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, MO (J.D. 1993), where he served on the School's Moot Court Board. Additionally, he earned a degree in technology and human affairs, with an emphasis on environmental policy, from the Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (M.S.1993).

Dan’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation and employment law. In the area of civil litigation, Dan has experience handling complex business disputes, including disputes arising out of financing, agency and distributorship agreements, as well as commercial real estate transactions and tenancies. He further has experience defending creditors in adversary proceedings, representing and advising not-for-profits, representing and advising insureds on coverage issues, and defending personal injury actions. In the area of employment law, Dan has extensive experience advising clients on and litigating claims arising out of all federal, state and local employment laws, including discrimination and wage and hour laws. Additionally, Dan has experience advising clients on and litigating claims arising out of restrictive covenants and issues of confidentiality and trade secret protection. Further, Dan has experience drafting and negotiating restrictive covenants, and separation agreements. Dan is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Illinois, and has experience with both hearings and trials before administrative agencies, and state and federal courts. Dan has experience with appeals and has successfully argued cases before New York’s Appellate Term and Appellate Division.
